obtaining a big fund to further the above work. Japanese

and etc. are distributing

free of charge, unsalable goods in their stock, such as
cotton singlets, towels, curtains, rubber shoes, etc. to
the Burmese through Burmese monks in an effort to create
pro-Japanese sentiments among the Burmese.
